Nikolas Geerken is a musician, and composer from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Growing up in the piedmont area, Geerken discovered his love of music while recovering from a broken leg. Picking up the guitar to pass the time, Nik began to write his own music.
In 2008 he joined a local metal band called BEAR ATTACK! and performed all around the South-East on the drum kit.
After high school, Nik studied music at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte under the tutelage of Dr. Mira Frisch and Dr. Jacqueline Yost.
While at university, he played in several groups and arrangements, including: orchestra, folk band, jazz quartet, and more. In addition to music, he also studied Anthropology and Film Studies while at UNCC.
With over a decade of experience, he has composed music for films, commercials, podcasts, video games, a live musical, and more.
Nik currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and is actively pursuing new opportunities.
